Saxon Math, Course 2 Student Edition
Saxon Math Course 2 is a comprehensive mathematical curriculum specifically engineered for seventh-grade students. Developed by Stephen Hake, this student edition employs the signature Saxon methodology of incremental development and continual review. Rather than teaching concepts in isolated units, the program breaks complex topics into smaller, manageable increments, ensuring that students master foundational skills before moving on to more advanced applications.
The course content covers a wide array of essential mathematical disciplines, including ratios, statistics, probability, integers, and coordinate graphing. It provides a bridge between basic arithmetic and more complex algebraic thinking, integrating geometry and real-world problem-solving throughout the lessons. Each lesson is designed to reinforce previous learning through cumulative practice, helping students retain information and build confidence as they progress through the academic year.
